This includes the protection of patents, designs and brands in particular and also the corresponding contract law such as licence and knowledge transfer agreements, as well as employee invention law, especially:
- Worldwide filing, administration and prosecution of patent applications, utility model applications, trademark applications, design and design patent applications, especially national (DPMA), European (EPA, EUIPO) or international (WIPO, PCT, Madrid IR among others).
- Conducting objection proceedings, complaints proceedings, nullity proceedings, opposition proceedings, cancellation proceedings, representation in infringement proceedings or litigation before the district courts, higher regional courts and the Federal Court of Justice, especially in pan-European or transatlantic disputes regarding intellectual property as a member of international teams.
- Expert evaluation of the validity of property rights, freedom-to-operate analyses, conducting due diligence proceedings, drawing up licensing agreements, advising in the field of employee invention law.
